Anupama Gokhale (born May 17, 1969 in Mumbai) is a former women's chess champion of India. She was the youngest Padmashree awardee being only 16 years old when she received it. She is married to Dronacharya Award Winner (Chess Player) Raghunandan Gokhale and settled while training young aspirant chess players.
She won the Indian Chess Championship five times (1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, and 1997) The Asian Chess Championship twice (1985 and 1987). She was the recipient of the Arjuna Award in 1990. Padmashree Award in 1986
